French Diction Coachings

Margaux Frohlich is a Franco-American soprano and recent alumna of the Manhattan School of Music. During her time at MSM, she not only cultivated her passion for vocal performance but also discovered an interest in French diction and coaching. This dual focus allowed her to combine her linguistic and musical skills in meaningful ways. During MSM’s production of Roméo et Juliette, she pursued an independent study as Assistant French Diction Coach, where she observed and was mentored by an internationally renowned French conductor, Pierre Vallet. This experience strengthened her expertise in lyric diction and collaborative work. She has been delighted to return to MSM as the French diction coach for La Périchole, contributing her knowledge to current MSM students. In addition to her work at MSM, Margaux is currently involved with Regina Opera’s production of Carmen, where she continues to assist singers in refining their French diction.
